Sunday Night Reflections…

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

A few things I saw / heard this morning:

·         Amazing crowd at the 9am hour…I guess that is what an extra hour of sleep will do for attendance.

·         Can you say “we need a 3rd service”?

·         People were still buzzing about Fall Festival…it was an incredible night.

·         Music sounded great this morning…people on stage personified worship.

·         I went to Fusion…saw Matt, Drew & Charlie sing a song together…Matt is a legit singer, Drew is just bad, and Charlie might be the worst on staff, besides me.

·         Excited about Pastor’s new series in two weeks on Prophecy….currently he is prophesying about Alabama football…hate it when he’s right.

·         Our volunteers did an amazing job this morning…I watched many go out of their way to help guests.

·         During his sermon, Pastor told a lot of funny stories about when he was growing up…how I would have loved to have seen him as a kid!

·         Folks, its working…keep it up!

·         On another note:

o   Of all the people that came to the altar this morning, I wonder how many of them were Georgia fans repenting of bad attitudes from yesterday?

o   Pastor Dennis must have done his quiet time Saturday, because GT got lucky!
